Suicide Dolls (1999)

My rating - 4.5/10

Four short segments, the first three featuring women commiting suicide and the forth is about dolls. And yeah, that's about it for the plot.

A woman shoots herself in the head in the first segment as we watch it all from the point of a stationary camera. Next, a woman hangs herself and in the next a woman commits harakiri. Finally there's a stop motion segment made up entirely of childs dolls that do some nasty things. The whole thing is cheap and quite poorly made with a couple of decent gore effects here and there. There's no acting to speak of and virtually no dialogue.

If you're into Japanese extreme cinema then it's worth a look, but for most, and even though it only runs for about an hour, it'll be far too nasty and pointless to enjoy on any level... I quite liked it!.
