Lionel is an oppressed young man living with this overbearing mother. After he arranges a date with a young woman to the zoo his mother follows and spys on them. She is bitten by a Sumatran Rat-Monkey and dies only to come back as a zombie, and soon anyone that comes to the house is killed and the zombie hoards go on an ultra gory rampage.

one of the goriest movies ever made, this horror comedy gets everything right. The insane practical effects are amazing, the acting is wonderful from all involved, the script is sharpe and funny and overall it's one of the most entertaining horror movies you'll likely ever see. If you're not used to over the top gore then you may find it a little too much, or even quite gross to start with, but there's just so much of it that it quickly becomes inoffesnsive and you'll just start to find it fun. Even the UKs BBFC saw the joke and passed it fully uncut. If you haven't seen it yet then do so, now!. Director Peter Jackson went on to fame and fortune with movies like King Kong and The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, but it's so much fun to go back and see his early work like this, Bad Taste and Meet The Feebles.
